About Me
Thank you for visiting my website, if you have done it is possibly because you have lost someone in your life and for your loss so, how can I help you?
My name is Jill and I have been a qualified independent Celebrant for since 2020, I am proud to be registered with the Association of Independent Celebrants. Upon finishing my training I started delivering weddings, naming ceremonies and vow renewals, handfasting’s and funerals, I enjoyed them all, but being honest with myself I was soon drawn more to helping families plan their final goodbyes to loved ones and moved more to the delivery of Funerals, Celebrations of Life and Memorials.
I find being able to sit with families at the rawest and most difficult times, warmly listening to them talk about their loved ones, holding a safe space for them as tears flow and laughter bubbles with memories recalled, being able to reassure and nurture as together we mould a perfect ceremony, not just to represent their loved one but to bring comfort to those left behind is so special, so intimate and holds so much responsibility.
I am privileged beyond belief that families and Funeral Directors choose to engage my services and never underestimate the trust involved. There is, as one amazing Funeral Director said to me the first time I worked with him, and my first funeral, “only one chance to get this 100% right for the family” and this stays with me, there is no rush when we meet, whether that is face to face or online and there is open contact with me throughout the process, and beyond.
Personally, I’ve worked in many different fields and looking back one has absolutely led to another, sometimes being thanked and left behind and sometimes with the transferable skills coming along with me for the journey. From Professional Dancer, Dance Teacher and Studio owner to Professional Musical Theatre Performer, Actor, Playwright and Author and Storyteller, Tour Guide and Mindfulness Coach, I love the collective opportunities that I have been afforded and continue to embrace all that are to come now that I live on the wonderful Island of Anglesey, how lucky am I?
I’m a Mum and Mum in Law, love to walk in our beautiful natural landscape, practice daily yoga, adore and have babysitting rights to all my Daughter and Son in Law’s menagerie of small holding animals and have the heart warming work with my 'Ten Pathways to Grief Relief' work, writing and, believe it or not I also work as a Tour Guide on a Lighthouse.
Life is all about adventures, and as a Funeral Celebrant I will help you to share a loved one’s adventures in the most perfect way, to celebrate their lives and create a lasting memory for you that, though tinged with sadness can bring some peace and joy to you.

Jill
